93 cents & pure joy

Most people probably don't know this (well those in Louisville), but I'm a huge fan of classical music. I have played the piano for about 12 years, and can at times become enraptured with the beautiful notes of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and all those dear chaps. Tonight for instance, joy has come at the cheap price of 93 cents compliments of Walmart.com. I downloaded one of Mussorgsky's songs from Pictures at an Exhibition & sat enraptured by its melody at the late hour of almost midnight....

Chicken Nuggets, Car Washes, and Pride & Prejudice

Alas, this blog has been abandoned for quite some time. Thousands have asked, "R. Lauren, what are you doing?" Well, not thousands, millions.
To answer their pleas....
Break was great in Florida.
Passion was AMAZING in Nashville.
And now, being back in Louisville, I have indulged in eating one too many chicken nuggets (64!)...Ask Toto if you want more details on that story, I'm sure he will oblige; Finding joy in vacuum cleaners at gas stations; & watching Pride & Prejudice with Katie....2 times in one day at the $3.50 theater! Pitiful isn't it?
Truly, a J-Term is to ensue soon, and my life will be filled with the beauty of memorizing New Testament facts.
(P.S.- Does anybody know how to get rid of that annoying strip on the right hand side of my blog? It appeared out of nowhere and will not leave....Pity.)
